Foreign Legion Carrier Level
So here we are back again posting whats going on at the front lines. It’s great to see people are still happy about the update. But we thought you guys and galls might be interested in some more social interaction. Killing bad guys all by your self does tend to be a bit lonesome after a while. So how about a bit of a get to getter where you all can kill bad guys and even each other. Well with that warm thought in mind we are working on the multi-player. Bit by bit.. no deadline for now just doing what we do best. In the meanwhile the retail version is in stores soon for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We are also selling the game on some other sites now by the way. We will list them later on. Anyway we also got an interview on Rock Paper Shotgun whoohoo :). Please tell everyone how much you like the game and that they should buy it so we can pay next months rent ;)
Ah and here is a little dev shot of the a level that is reaching finalization

Great game. Where’s the Mac version?
By Neuromante on February 9th 2010
Really interesting, I hope we could have something more than a standard Deathmatch mode.
Also, that “robot chicken” stuff in the menu it’s… interesting, too xD
By Mike on February 9th 2010
Good job, I love the RPS article and second the views regarding indie teams.
By jw on February 9th 2010
just got his game, and liking it. :) quite fresh gameplay for such a straightforward shooter, and I’m glad updates are coming because I just completed the campaign.
By Rtfalk on February 9th 2010
Love this game! Most anticipated Multiplayer in my book besides Call of Duty Modern: Warfare 2. So can’t wait! Great job so far!!
By w33n on February 9th 2010

By Alien Legionare on February 12th 2010

P.S. awesome game, good time waster. the storyline was ok but not the best, but besides that it was awesome. keep it up!! cant wait for updates!!!
By andydam on February 12th 2010
*sigh* Where is the Mac version?
By w33n on February 16th 2010
Haw haw, noone cares about Macs anymore :D
By Major Isoor on February 17th 2010
It’s on GameTreeOnline, or something, I think - although it’s only got the Pre-update version, I believe.
Also, looks great so far, guys! Those indoor areas of the carrier will really add a new element to gameplay, since there wouldn’t be any airstrikes in those indoor areas, and it’ll be a lot more enclosed! Really looking forward to hear about your progress!
Keep up the good work, Sakari!
By nik on February 18th 2010
You can reach max 99 level. Then game stucks.
By Major Isoor on February 19th 2010
Wow, what’s the rank for THAT level!? It’d have to be president, or something!
By Dirt1996 on February 20th 2010
Lmao looks great guys! I am incredibly happy about your support after a major update!!
By nik on February 22nd 2010
Waiting for more news. Blog updates only once in 20 days!( Can you post carriers plan (map) please? It would be interesting.
By Dirt1996 on February 23rd 2010
By the way mac guys, last I checked the news on the mac version was that they were having probe with game tree. Try looking in older posts.
By w33n on February 24th 2010
Dirt, are you saying GameTree was probing Sakari?
>_>
By Dirt1996 on February 25th 2010
Lmao!
Sorry. I meant problem X_X
By Jasien on February 25th 2010

By Rajab on March 9th 2010
So with Valve now releasing a Mac version of Steam, does this mean Foreign Legion will be going Steam for Windows & Mac?
I think we Mac owners have waited long enough to get the patches that the steam guys have already got!!!
By Dirt1996 on March 11th 2010
I agree. You should really look into getting the mac users a free (or at least discounted) copy of BoB with the patches. They have waited quite long and quite patiently.
By Dirt1996 on March 15th 2010
Can u give us a site update?
By We want this game on March 16th 2010
Yes please
By Major Isoor on March 18th 2010
Give em time, guys - they’ll update their blog when there’s been another major advancement in the game development; like finishing this map, and being partway through the next.
Don’t you worry, it’s a-comin’! ;)
By Ian on March 24th 2010
Update this website
By Alien Legionare on April 11th 2010
Hey Srry I Forgot To Ask Whats The Highest Title Like 39 Is Major Whats 99 Title?
By ToastyW33N on April 24th 2010
Come on guys, it’s been 2 months.
Update this thing.
By Suomis on April 29th 2010
Any news of Sakari? Its been quiet :s
By ShellyShocky on May 9th 2010
Oh look, tumble weed >_>
No really, any sort of update would do right about now, just to reassure us that you guys are, well, er, alive.
By Sasch on May 9th 2010
I hope you don’t give up this good game! <,<
By Nik on May 9th 2010
Site update is coming very soon.
By Wind Up Toy on May 12th 2010
ok sakari indie, I’ve been really freakin disappointed in your lack of Mac updates, but steam was released for Mac today so you have NO excuse to keep ignoring the Mac version.
By Jester on May 15th 2010
Release a map editor!
By ShellyShocky on May 22nd 2010
I’m curious. Is there a possibility of cel-shading being implemented in one of these coming updates? Looking at the soldier on the Main Menu screen makes me wonder.
By developersdevelopers on May 28th 2010
for those of you whining about mac updates, get a god damn pc or code the thing yourself.
By Wind Up Toy on May 28th 2010
I paid good money for my Mac version. It is unprofessional to leave the Mac version in the dust, because I’m getting ripped off.
By Suomis on May 30th 2010
Hey Sakari, please give us something! And come to the Steam forums too, people are eager to hear from you!
By developersdevelopers on June 5th 2010
it’s unprofessional (and immature) to make demands to a small indie game developer (who is already working very hard on the game) to release regular updates for an operating system that runs on less than 10% of computers. their actual customer base probably represents a number much lower than 10%. if you aren’t going to join their development team and help out, you’re just throwing a childish fit.
plus, if you can afford to throw away money on something as useless as an apple product, then the $1-10 you paid for this game shouldn’t be a big deal.
RESPECT DEVELOPERS
By Darkus on August 17th 2010
Awesome game… but please… do something to make this little monster multiplayer…
we want to do some deathmach!
By Haserd4 on August 19th 2010
Looks great but quick question, considering the planes are in the air will they be flyable or flying props around the level?
By Haserd4 on August 19th 2010
Also I second “developersdevelopers” comment
