			So we have got something that starts to look like a game.. And now are tweaking the handling of the Karts. We would like your input on this. Now we would like to start with a small select group of testers that will get access to this Pre&#45;Beta version. So if you are interested send us a mail with the reason why you think you would give us usable feedback. Remember we are looking for feedback on car handling only. We always love your ideas on gameplay but we would like to take it one step at a time. So send your mail to info(a)sakari&#45;indie.com and we will select a list.

			Round and Round

So this is just a little visual thing using the Unity plugin. If you dont have it yet get it from unity3d.com. We will use this pluging also for the online edition. If you have trouble installing.. Google a bit :). It works on my laptop running vista and firefox.

Anyway. We also have a request for you guys. We would like to add some sound to the Kart. Now there are some good engine sounds available online but we kinda need a set of royalty free idle, pull&#45;up, full speed. slowdown and skidding sounds. If anyone has a pack please let us know :).

Jay just added drifting to the current setup and is tweaking some bits. we hope to stick it online asap.

Ah and off course thanks for all your comments we understand and really appreciate your thoughts, it is what keeps us going.

		<title>A what?</title>

		<description>
			First click here here and here
Now as you can see our Legionnaire appears to have a hobby. He likes to go Go&#45;Karting :). Let me explain a bit what the plan is with this hobby. First I should introduce Jay, the programming wizard that bought a Commadore64 when he was a kid. he wrote his first C64 games in assembler at the age of 14. He has been in game development ever since. And we are very lucky to have him aboard. The plan with this game is like this. First we will release a playable version online this includes a Kart and a track. All testing fase stuff..

				 What we need of you guys is relevant feedback on the handeling. We want this thing to be fun just driving at first. Next step we will add those nice weapons you see and adding some more detail to the graphics. The following step would be .. multiplayer testing.. YAY for JAY!!! this still is not the final release but once again feedback is wanted. Once the game is cool enough we will put it online so everyone can enjoy it for free in the browser. If enough people click the banners surrounding the game and we get a little cash back we make a proper version with a diversity of tracks and achievements and other goodness on steam for a super reasonable price. So is anyone in for some karting action?

The question must rise.. what about FL multi&#45;player? Well off course that is still in the pipeline but we need to try this approach first. We are working closely with some other developers and are aiming for the same goal.. propper multiplayer for a shooter game in unity3d. There are some quick solutions but they would make the game cost about ten times as much.

And the other question.. What about DLC for the current game. We would like to use your accomplishments from Buckets of Blood in the multiplayer. Meaning the multi&#45;player will be sold separately.

And last but not least.. what about the mac version? Well we are planning to bundle the pc and mac version on steam. So it will be both for one price. I can&#8217;t tell you a date or details but we are doing our best.

		<title>Foreign Legion Carrier Level</title>

			So here we are back again posting whats going on at the front lines. It&#8217;s great to see people are still happy about the update. But we thought you guys and galls might be interested in some more social interaction. Killing bad guys all by your self does tend to be a bit lonesome after a while. So how about a bit of a get to getter where you all can kill bad guys and even each other. Well with that warm thought in mind we are working on the multi&#45;player. Bit by bit.. no deadline for now just doing what we do best. In the meanwhile the retail version is in stores soon for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We are also selling the game on some other sites now by the way. We will list them later on. Anyway we also got an interview on Rock Paper Shotgun whoohoo :). Please tell everyone how much you like the game and that they should buy it so we can pay next months rent ;)

Ah and here is a little dev shot of the a level that is reaching finalization

			Buongiorno, we rolled out another update for the game on Steam, this update adds Italian and Polish translations to the game. We also added due credits to everybody who worked or helped with developing Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood, these can be found in the help screens in&#45;game.

We&#8217;ve also started a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) about the game. You can find this (among many other interesting discussions) on the Steam forums.

Arrivederci &amp;amp; na razie!

		<title>Bug Fixes</title>
		<link>http://sakari-indie.com/news/bug_fixes/</link>

		<description>
			Hello everybody, we hope you had a great new year! We&#8217;ve been out on a holiday for a while now, which was a joy after putting the big Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood update out there. We did try to keep an eye out on the forums however and we saw a few bug reports popping up here and there. Have no fear, we&#8217;re already working on getting these fixed! Some of the major bugs that we&#8217;re working on are our initial translations for the game (big thanks to everyone who sent in improved translation files for that), the Rocket Man achievement, the incorrect amount of money being displayed or being rewarded in the game, tweaked the accuracy of the Minigun, and many more! We&#8217;ll roll out this update pretty soon, so we hope this puts your worries to rest.

We saw a big boost in the amount of people playing the game during the last two weeks. So I would like to thank everyone who gifted the game to a friend or to a stranger on Steam during the holiday sales!

		<description>
			As I&#8217;m writing this, the big update for the PC version that we&#8217;ve been talking about for a while now just went live on Steam! This means you only have to click on Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood in your Steam games list and the auto&#45;updater should take care of the rest for you. Make sure to tell all of your friends, family, neighbors and perhaps even your pet goldfish, Foreign Legion is back and it brought the big guns!

We&#8217;ve worked hard on this update and we couldn&#8217;t have done it without the amazing support you have given us throughout the last few months. A great big hug goes out to the people at Valve as well, for helping us getting our game out to you!

Feel free to leave a comment on your thoughts about the game, or head on over to the Steam forums for more in&#45;depth discussion. Don&#8217;t linger too long however, the rebels are closing in!

			Do we have a surprise for you today! Last week we showed you a preview of all the new levels which will be included in the upcoming update. Going on these new and dangerous missions however requires the appropriate gear for the job. Therefore we would like to present &#8220;The Weapons of Foreign Legion&#8221;. Enjoy!
